The whole rainbow in long, slim split cakes: the Thin Strokes Rainbow Rush Palette makes colors flow in a single brushstroke! 🌈
It was designed by Anna and Santi from the American shop Jest Paint. Its seven split cakes run from light to dark for strokes that pop, and a white and pearl white duo completes the palette. Narrower than standard sizes, they load with a 3/4" brush or smaller.
Each split cake lifts out of the palette and has its own lid, so you can build your kit however you like. The colors are water-activated with a gum arabic base, giving them a texture halfway between glycerin and wax.

Palette contents
Seven gradients: flame, tiger, yellow and green, strong green, bold blue, rich purple, and bright pink, plus a white and pearl white duo.
How to use it?
- 💦 Spritz a little water on the split cake and lightly dampen your flat or angle brush: too much water makes the colors bleed into each other
- ↕️ Hold the palette with the color stripes running vertically: excess water runs down the stripes instead of mixing the shades
- 🎨 Swipe back and forth across the full width of the split cake until you get a creamy texture; a 3/4" brush picks up every color, a narrower one loads just a few
- 🤍 Use the white duo for line work, base coats, and double dip; you can also run your brush through the white before loading a gradient to get a pastel version
- ✨ After use, spritz a little water and smooth the surface with a clean sponge to keep it neat, then let it air-dry before closing
How to remove it?
- 🧴 First massage with a makeup-removing balm or an oil (coconut, olive…), or a gentle liquid soap if you don't have any
- 💧 Wipe off with a cotton pad or microfiber cloth and cold or lukewarm water
- 🔁 If any traces remain, massage again with a little oil; some skin types stain a bit more than others
One brushstroke, and the rainbow rushes into your creations! ✨
