Long, slim split cakes for crisp gradients, even on small designs: the Thin Strokes Candy Palette changes the way you do one-stroke painting! 🍭
It was designed by Anna and Santi from the American shop Jest Paint. Its eight candy-colored split cakes, all edged in white for extra pop, are narrower than standard sizes: load them with a 3/4" brush or smaller.
Flowers, animals, butterfly wings, hearts, dragons, snakes, scales… Each split cake lifts out of the palette and has its own lid, so you can build your kit however you like. The colors are water-activated with a gum arabic base, giving them a texture halfway between glycerin and wax.

Palette contents
Eight gradients: black and emerald, violet-pink-yellow, sunset (red-orange-yellow), lilac, forest and lime green, chocolate and tan, hot pink and blush, navy and sky blue.
How to use it?
- 💦 Spritz a little water on the split cake and lightly dampen your flat or angle brush: too much water makes the colors bleed into each other
- ↕️ Hold the palette with the color stripes running vertically: excess water runs down the stripes instead of mixing the shades
- 🎨 Swipe back and forth across the full width of the split cake until you get a creamy texture; a 3/4" brush picks up every color, a narrower one loads just a few
- ✨ After use, spritz a little water and smooth the surface with a clean sponge to keep it neat, then let it air-dry before closing
How to remove it?
- 🧴 First massage with a makeup-removing balm or an oil (coconut, olive…), or a gentle liquid soap if you don't have any
- 💧 Wipe off with a cotton pad or microfiber cloth and cold or lukewarm water
- 🔁 If any traces remain, massage again with a little oil; some skin types stain a bit more than others
A fine line, maximum impact: time for some sweet gradients! 🍬
