A base, one-stroke work, and outlines from a single paint: the Leanne's Happy Pixie Palette brings together six do-it-all petal cakes! 🌸
It was designed by Leanne Courtney, an Australian face painter known for her vibrant color combinations. Its six petal cakes work with a sponge for base coats, with a flat brush for one-stroke designs, and their end colors handle outlines and finishing touches.
Tigers, butterflies, masks… one petal cake is often enough for a whole design. The colors are water-activated with a gum arabic base, giving them a texture halfway between glycerin and wax.

How to use it?
- 💦 Spritz a little water on the petal cake and lightly dampen your sponge or brush: just enough for a clean print, as too much water makes the colors bleed
- 🧽 Base: load the sponge by sweeping it side to side over some or all of the colors, then dab it where you want the base
- 🎨 One stroke: sweep a 3/4" to 1" flat brush across the petal cake to add details over the base
- ✏️ Outlines: use the end colors of the petal cake for outlines and finishing touches
- ✨ After use, spritz a little water and smooth the surface with a clean sponge to keep it neat, then let it air-dry before closing
How to remove it?
- 🧴 First massage with a makeup-removing balm or an oil (coconut, olive…), or a gentle liquid soap if you don't have any
- 💧 Wipe off with a cotton pad or microfiber cloth and cold or lukewarm water
- 🔁 If any traces remain, massage again with a little oil; some skin types stain a bit more than others
One paint, a thousand possibilities: let your imagination run wild! 🦋
