Scar Matrix - Wound Mold

Make your wounds in advance! Kryolan Scar Matrix is a mold that lets you make your own wound and scar prosthetics in liquid latex. 🧟

It holds 7 styles of typical injuries and scars, to be covered with liquid latex to create a whole range of prosthetics. Prepare them calmly before your party, then all you have to do on the day is glue them on and make them up.

How to use it?

• 💨 Spray a very thin layer of release agent onto the mold and let it dry completely
• ☁️ Dust the mold evenly with a little translucent loose powder and remove the excess
• 🖌️ Cover the chosen wound with a very thin layer of liquid latex, using a cotton swab, a fine sponge or a brush
• ⏳ Let it dry almost completely (a hair dryer speeds up drying)
• 🔁 Repeat until you reach the desired thickness
• 🕐 Then let it dry completely: this can take several hours depending on the wound and thickness
• 🌀 Powder the prosthetic generously, gently lift the edges and peel it off the mold, dusting the surface as you go so the fine edges don't stick together
• 🧴 Then glue your prosthetic to the skin with spirit gum and make it up
