The six basic colors you need to get started or complete your kit: meet the Face Paints Australia Essential palette 🎨
Founded in 2005 in Melbourne, the Australian brand FPA is loved by many international artists such as Dutch BIHARY, Jenny SAUNDERS, Kristin OLSSON, Lynne JAMIESON, Nick WOLFE, Sally-Ann LYNCH and Sarah ASKER.
This palette brings together 6 matte water-activated paints from the Essential range, made with a paraffin base and highly pigmented for great coverage from the very first pass. They work just as well with a brush for linework, teardrops and outlines as with a sponge on small and medium areas.
- 🎨 6 cakes of 10 g: black, blue, green, red, yellow and white
- 🖌️ Round brush included
- 📏 Dimensions: approx. 25 × 6 × 2 cm (9.8 × 2.4 × 0.8 in)
- 🌱 Vegan: no animal-derived ingredients, not tested on animals
- ✅ Compliant with EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009
How to use it?
- 💦 Lightly dampen your paint and your brush or sponge
- 🎨 Activate the color by rubbing until you get a creamy texture
- 🖌️ Apply with a brush for lines and details, or dab with a sponge on small and medium areas
- ✨ After use, spritz a little water on your paints and smooth them with a clean sponge to give them a neat finish
- ☀️ Let them air dry overnight before closing the palette, then store it away from heat and sunlight
How to remove it?
- 🧴 First massage the makeup with a cleansing balm or an oil, such as coconut or olive oil (otherwise, a mild liquid soap)
- 🧽 Once the makeup has dissolved, wipe it off with a cotton pad or a microfiber cloth and cold or lukewarm water
- 🔁 If any traces remain, massage again with oil, then rinse
- 💡 Every skin is different: on some, certain pigments may need an extra pass
Good to know
- 🎭 For a large base over the whole face, like the white base of a skeleton, a glycerin-based formula, softer and easier to blend, will be more comfortable: applied thickly over a large area, a paraffin-based formula may crack
